THE OPPORTUNITY
By joining the team at the ECG you will be a part of a niche and exciting division of a highly successful team. We are seeking a part time (4 days per week) Technician with basic knowledge and experience working on appliances, or consumable product machines. You’ll be working amongst a supportive team of people that will provide you with training and the essentials to execute your role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to Technical issues from customers within agreed Service Level Agreements
- Resolve Technical issues in a fast and professional manner
- Keeping customer updated on the progress of resolving issue
- General workshop repairs
- Monitor and assign all Technical Calls
- Diagnosing issues over the phone and attempting to solve technical issues over the phone
- Diagnosing and problem solving technical issues
- Maintaining customer relations
- onsite servicing (onsite servicing may require travel)
- Commissioning and repair hot and cold beverage dispensing machines
- planning daily schedules by analysing work orders
- Investigating technical complaints and resolving the issue
- Ordering and gathering components and parts
- Installing equipment and machines
- completing forms, reports and logs for repairs
- Performing preventative maintenance
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Current manual drivers licence
- Restricted Electrical Licence (preferred, although not essential)
- Refrigeration, electronics or Electrical Trade Certificate IV (preferred, although not essential)
- Previous experience in electrical services industry would be beneficial (although not essential)
